Counters
There are special numbers to count objects in Japanese. They are called counters. You need to use appropriate counters to count an object.
The word order when you count in Japanese
When you count dogs in English for example, you say 'two dogs'. In Japanese, you need to say 'dog two'. The number comes AFTER the object.
